Comments: Something made me remember the Chickenman radio show that started when I was 14, I searched around and here I am. I vaguely remember a radio ad, "Brought to you by Nageela crackers and candy bars. When hunger strikes, Have A Nageela!" Was that ad on Chickenman?
Thanks,
Roy
Admin reply: Thank you, Roy, for signing the guestbook. I don't know what ads were supporting Chickenman. I think it depended on the radio station of what ad was placed and where.

Comments: It doesn't get any better than that. Thanks so much to you, Neal and Carl. Some great music. Great Site, Great Site, Great Site. Hey, do you guys remember the Ink Spots? They had some great tunes!
Admin reply: Thank you, Wally. Carl selects the music and then he and I collaborate (such a big word) on putting the show together. Carl has a terrific 45 rpm record player!
Thanks for taking time to give us a listen. Hope no tornadoes are coming toward Dubuque.

Comments: A shout-out to 'The 60s Official Site'! I will always consider it an honor and privilege to be an integral part of the site, thanks to Carl. I'm also touched by Neal Steven's dedication during the latest Soundtrack of the 60s.
Long live the 60s and the way of life we embraced. My sincere appreciation to all those who served during the Vietnam War.
Admin reply: You will always be a part of the site Eva. I hope you enjoyed the song. I researched the show and discovered it was a cover hit, I recalled how you loved the song and I included in the playlist for Neal.

Comments: Thank you for your service!
My husband was an OH6 Helicopter Pilot in Vietnam with the 1st Cav and then with 101st Airborne in 70-71. We have just started going through his numerous slides but many of your photos are so familiar,
Thank you once again. I enjoyed the music, the myths, and your photos.
Cordially, Kathy Bastow
Admin reply: You are welcome and of course thank you husband for his service as well. I appreciate you taking the time to sign the guestbook and for visiting The 60s Official Site.

Comments: Love the Chickenman postings! I think today's episode. March 27, 2022, may have the wrong title (Episode 25 - Winged Warrior Tickets His Grandparents)? The episode is about Mildred negotiating, down, for Benton's salary.
Admin reply: Thank you. You are correct something went wrong. The episode that played was episode 59. Thanks for the heads up. The sequence of play has been corrected.
