Thanks fellas. Another enjoyable show. I always enjoy listening. I appreciate all the hard work you guys put into this.
Neal, I always just hear people saying the 45s with the big hole. Maybe it's just called "The Big Hole"??
I do remember that plastic piece in the 45s so you could play it with the little hole. I had forgotten about them and didn't really remember them until the previous writer brought it up. So,thanks to him for another old memory.

Admin reply: Thank you Wally. Much appreciate your listening to Soundtrack of the 60s and checking out the Guest Book. Yes, I still wonder what the big hole on the 45rpm records is called.

As you remember, I had those little plastic things that fit in the hole so that records could be played on, none other than, the record player!!!

Someday maybe we'll learn the name of the hole on the 45. A mysterious mystery, if I do say so myself.

Thanks Wally.

HI Carl & Neal

Thanks for taking us back to grade school for are spelling lesson on the first part of the "Soundtrack of The 60's" and playing songs where the title are missing in the song lyrics.
Neal what I know about 45rpm records there was a time where 45rpm records had an triangular optional center
that could be punch out to play on a 45rpm player then went to the commonly known big hole.
Carl always enjoy coming back to your 60's Website.

Drew :!time:

Admin reply: Thank you Drew for coming back for more of the greatest hits of all-time. And thanks for your explanation about the big hole on the little 45 rpm records! Interesting stuff. Wonder why I never wondered as a kid. But I didn't.

Thanks for listening and Drew, keep rockin' the beautiful state of Washington, home of the Pike Place Market and Mt Ranier!!!

Hi again guys. Just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed the show as always. I had a number of those songs on my Spotify list, but also got quite a few to add to my list. It seems like there are so many songs that one doesn't remember until you hear them or you guys play them. So, thanks very much.

Admin reply: "Thank you Wally. You are so very kind. You certainly shall be ready for the pop quiz if it ever pops up!!!

Carl & I appreciate your support and glad you and Lois enjoy our programs. Lots of hard work going into putting the shows up on the web site.

Thanks again.

Hi Carl & Neal...
Another fun filled "Soundtrack of the 60's" like crazy man! :!giggle:

I have a suggestion for a future "Soundtrack of the 60's" play songs from the sixty that spells out words or names see list below

Herman Hermits - I'm Henry the 8th I am
Connie Francis - Vacation
Nat King Cole - Love
Them - Gloria
Bo Diddley - Cadillac
Trini Lopez - Happy

If You think it would be a good "Soundtrack of the 60's"? You and Neal might have fun coming up with more songs. Take care guys

Drew :!time:

Admin reply: Thank you Drew for your suggestion. Neal and I are always open for new theme ideas for Soundtrack of the 60s. After doing the research I could not find enough songs from our era to make a show that you suggested. A great idea however! If you have any other ideas please share with us. As always thank you for being a fan of the site and Soundtrack of the 60s.
