Comments: Hey Carl, I read your reply to Wally, I only knew Neal from your website and the Soundtrack of the 60's I think a special Soundtrack of the 60s featuring Neal at his best would be a great way to honor Neal if Linda approves of it.
I too miss Neal's monthly commentary they were so enjoyable if you do get the okay from Linda it would be a nice jester to play instrumental track Last Night by the Mar-Keys.
I've always enjoy the context of your website, take care and thanks Carl.

Admin reply: Thanks for your comments, Drew. I have yet to contact Linda but will soon when I get a clear vision on how to approach the show honoring Neal.

Comments: Hi Carl.....hope everything with you is well. Talked with Linda, Neal"s wife, the other day. She got a new puppy. That will be great for her and he is really a cutie. Still miss his show and him. But do love your site. Probably the best one out there.
Admin reply: Thank you, Wally, for your info. I saw on Facebook her new puppy and he is a cutie. I really miss Neal as well and doing his show was something he and I always looked forward to. I am thinking about doing a special Soundtrack of the 60s with Neal at his funniest moments. I kept many of his shows and will have to remix which will take some time to do. I will run it through Linda before I do it to make sure she doesn't mind. What are your thoughts?

Comments: Hey Carl
Just thought I'd send along my best and join the thousand's of others in thanking you for all you've done to keep the 60's alive. To me, it was the best of times with the music, stations, and disc jockey's. I hope all is well with you these days.

Admin reply: Johnny it's always a great pleasure to hear from you. Everything is fine here. I agree that the 60s music and that period of time was the best to have been part of. Yes, indeed DJs just as yourself made it more enjoyable. Thanks for checking in my friend.

Carl, I have not been paying attention. I did not realize Neal's last name was Schiff. I just read his online obituary and discovered he is the same Neal which I served with in the Air Force during training in 1964. He was always a great guy to hang out with. Later I read a novel in which the author acknowledged Neal's assistance at the FBI with information. Again, I did not realize this was the Neal I remembered from the Air Force. As I write this post, I am listening to your music and looking at Neal in our training class' group photo at Amarillo Air Force Base from December 1964. His was a life well lived. All good wishes. All good wishes.
