Comments: Thanks so much you guys, Carl and Neal. Really enjoyed the great music and some of the songs I haven't heard in awhile. They don't play Mockingbird that often. What a great website you have here Carl. And thanks Neal for being at the "WEEL". Hope you and your families have a great 4th of July holiday.
Admin reply: Thank you once again Wally for tuning in to Soundtrack of the 60s. Neal and I both enjoy putting together these memorable tracks with more to come.

Comments: Whoa, almost missed the May show. That would never do. Sure really enjoyed it. What a great theme! I think this was one of your best. Thank you guys (Carl and Neal) for all you do. This show sure had some great songs. I guess that is why they got picked for movies. The songs really brought back some good memories and some great movie memories too. One of my favorite songs(Everybody's Talking) and one of my favorite movies(Midnight Cowboy)were there. Another thing, whenever I hear Chuck Berry's song, "You Can Never Tell" from Pulp Fiction I always see Trovolta doing that goofy dance out on the floor. Funny how some things will stick with you. Looking forward to next month!!!
Admin reply: Thank you Lois & Wally. So happy you rock to the oldies at the movies and on TV. Sometimes we all wonder how Hollywood picks songs for movies. They have a formula I suppose. Works for me. Happy June to the Happy Couple from Dubuque.

Comments: Hi Carl and Neal I was watching old documentary's and film footages from the 1960's on different topics Do you two remember having bomb drills in school and hearing emergency broadcast on television a loud beep would come on then you would hear " this is a test of the emergency broadcast system, if this had been an actual emergency you would have been given instructions on what to next, this conclude the test of the emergence broadcast system follow by a beep" growing up in California Bay Area we had earthquake and fire drills as well as Bombs drills I do recall hearing the emergency broadcast system signal on television up and till 1969 or 1970 Thanks and stay safe guys
Admin reply: Thank you Drew for your comments. I do remember those alerts and not so much the drills but I am sure we had them. You stay safe as well.
Comments: I am a young college student doing a project on garage rock of the 1960s. This website was very helpful for finding information about the genre. Lots of great reads on here. I will have to come back to listen to more interesting genres. Thanks for the great website!
Admin reply: You are welcome JC. Thanks for stopping by.
