I had the pleasure of co-hosting Jim's "Runyon and Friends" on KYW just before the FCC made them move back to Philly. He was a trip! And I became among the most avid "Chickenman" fans on the planet once Jim was on the air in Chicago. He passed waaaayyy too young!

I grew up on South Pickaway St between Conrads barbershop and Deans potato chips. Circleville has changed Ted Lewis park is deteriorating and the pool has been closed for a decade or more. My bother Ralph graduated in 67 and was also in Vietnam as a Marine. He lives in Reynoldsburg now. I graduated in 74. I often think of the 60s and 70s as those years were special. The music and the whole atmosphere was great. I loved the 60s cars and they had a special personality not seen today. You site is fantastic -thank you so much!
Admin reply: I was a friend of Ralph in high school and graduated in 1966. I get back to Circleville a couple times of the year and yes it has gone through many changes since then.
