Comments: I grew up on South Pickaway St between Conrads barbershop and Deans potato chips. Circleville has changed Ted Lewis park is deteriorating and the pool has been closed for a decade or more. My bother Ralph graduated in 67 and was also in Vietnam as a Marine. He lives in Reynoldsburg now. I graduated in 74. I often think of the 60s and 70s as those years were special. The music and the whole atmosphere was great. I loved the 60s cars and they had a special personality not seen today. You site is fantastic -thank you so much!
Admin reply: I was a friend of Ralph in high school and graduated in 1966. I get back to Circleville a couple times of the year and yes it has gone through many changes since then. Great memories of Ted Lewis Park. Thanks for stopping by George and for signing the Guestbook. Tell Ralph I said hello and let him know how to get in tough with me. You keep in touch as well.

Comments: I had the pleasure of co-hosting Jim's "Runyon and Friends" on KYW just before the FCC made them move back to Philly. He was a trip! And I became among the most avid "Chickenman" fans on the planet once Jim was on the air in Chicago. He passed waaaayyy too young!
Admin reply: Thank you Paul for sharing. That was when radio was fun to listen to. Memories galore.

Comments: Thanks again and again for the music. Such a great site!!! As always enjoyed the show. Good day to listen here in the frozen mid-west. About three below right now and I believe that will be our high today. Doesn't help that we've had nearly 45 inches of snow so far this winter either. Don't forget the chocolate for your brides next week.
Admin reply: Okay frozen Wally in Iowa. Bitter cold on your street there and hope you and Lois are cuddling to "Sleepwalk" as Santo & Johnny pick the strings. Thank you for giving us a listen and enjoying the show. Carl selects the music and he's got them all with brand news dust cloths for care of the 45s; he even wipes around that big hole in the little 45 rpm records!!! He's all class, Wally, as are you two. Be toasty, be safe, and be well.

Comments: The 60’s were the most magical time from the slang we used to the fashion, movies, events, school but I think it was our friends, hanging with them, our boyfriend and the music.
Thank you so much for this site.
Deb
Admin reply: We thank you Deb for enjoying Carl's web site and listening to all the great sounds. Sure crammed a lot in that 10-year time, didn't we? Enjoy the sounds of the 60s and keep rockin' thru a wild decade from Marty Robbins and the Girl Groups through the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix.
