A Man And A Woman is one of the decade's most popular foreign films.  Raquel Welch becomes Hollywood's hottest sex symbol of the decade.

Buster Keaton and Walt Disney dies.

The most beloved of all cult of the year, becoming an overnight trendsetter before quickly fading out. Another explosive fad series is The Monkees.  Also debutting is Mission: Impossible.
