Bewitched

This delightful comedy lasted almost eight years on ABC. It aired from September 1964 until July 1972 with 252 episodes being produced. Bewitched was one of the most beloved show's on TV.

Bewitched revolves around Darrin Stevens, first played by Dick York and later by Dick Sargent,  an advertising executive and his beautiful wife, Samantha, played by beautiful Elizabeth Montgomery,  who happens to be a witch.  They live at 1164 Morning Glory Circle in Westport Connecticut. Darrin works for the Manhattan firm of McMann and Tate.  Most episodes deals with him hiding the fact his wife is a witch and of course her powers she possesses. Darrin's mother-in-law Endora dislikes the idea that her daughter married a mortal and when she gets enraged casts unsuspecting spells on Darrin which leads to hilarious adventures. What even added more fun was Samantha's endless witch relatives that kept popping up.  Maurice, her father, Uncle Arthur, Aunt Clara and others.  Who could forget nosey Gladys Kravitz? Of course add Darrin's boss, Larry Tate and his wife Louise, you had an entertaining 30 minutes. Bewitched was one of the most beloved show's on TV.

Samantha and Darrin's first child Tabitha was born in 1966 followed by Adam in 1969. Tabitha was born with witch powers but Adam was mortal. Dick Sargent replaced Dick York as Darrin in 1969.
